Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Relaunch Date in India

The South Korean technology giant Samsung has called back their flagship device Galaxy Note 7 due to reported issues of battery explosions. The company has found and also admitted that the device had some technical problem with it and hence resulted in the faulty battery. But now Samsung has made a statement that the issues have been fixed and the Galaxy Note 7 is ready for a relaunch. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be hitting the Indian markets by October 7, 2016, says a report.

This device which was all set to be launched in India in September was called off due to the battery issue that came up. Now the reports have confirmed the Note 7 entry into the Indian market.

Samsung is also planning out some aggressive marketing strategies for the Galaxy Note 7 due to the reputation that the device has lost due to the faulty battery issue. “For customers who already have Galaxy Note 7 devices, we will voluntarily replace their current device with a new one over the coming weeks,” said Samsung is a report. Also added a few statements regarding the replacement of the old devices,”partners to ensure the replacement experience is as convenient and efficient as possible.”

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes with a 5.7-Inch Super AMOLED display and is powered by an Exynos 8890 processor. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. The device sports a 64GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 256GB via MircoSD card. It is run on a 4GB RAM and a 3500 mAh battery. The primary camera on this device is a 12MP shooter with f/1.7 aperture. The front-facing camera is a 5MP shooter with f/1.7 aperture.

The Indian customers who have preordered the device earlier have been sent a message that the device will be delayed in shipping.

  1. I’m using one and is one of the best Samsung device hitherto.. Its extremely unfortunate for it to have a battery fiasco. A major let down on quality check. Kinda unpardonable from 1 of the largest electronics giant in the world. Note 7 will never get the kinda response it initially got.
